I hadn't realised until I was looking at photos that the card I have made for my niece's birthday this coming weekend is very similar to one I made for a friend of Eleri's a few weeks ago.
The image I have used is Fairy Fun from Karen's Doodles - I've coloured her with promarkers - I seem to love pink and yellow for this fairy, don't think I've coloured her in any other colours! Not happy with her hair though - I just can't colour hair :( The BP is Kay and Co, and I love it, so bright and cheerful!. I embossed the lemon card in my Cuttlebug (doesn't look like it matches in the photo but it does IRL!), and made some bunting. Added a punched daisy flower, some gems and a sentiment onto the circle in the bottom right corner.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday - the sketch I followed (but I rotated it)
Prairie Fairy Designs - Anything goes (but I'm not sure if you have to use a prairie fairy image - so not sure if my card's eligible)
Creative Craft Challenges - Summer Lovin (I've used summery colours)
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Nice and girly (but I couldn't see the closing date so not sure if I'm in time to enter)
I'm racking my brain at the moment trying to come up with some nice ideas for teacher cards and presents, but not coming up with much yet!!
