Oh Man I Struggle With Men's Cards

Hello Folks

It's my brother's birthday today, and I really struggled with a card for him. I'm not happy with the card I've made to be honest - it looks more like it should be for his son (in fact I did use the same image for his son earlier in the year!) The card turned out OK, but it's just not a man's card!

Here it is

I followed this month's Glitter Fairies sketch challenge.
I'm also entering Do You Stack Up - use scraps (I didn't break into a new piece of card or paper at all for this - amazing!
and St Luke's Charity Cards Challenge which is Let's hear it for the boys.

Must go now as I have to cook tea before going back out to work for a meeting.

See you soon.

Love, Andrea xx

Hi Andrea, there's nothing wrong with your card; it's fab!! We use cute teddies and stuff on cards for men, so this is just the same. Besides, aren't all men overgrown kids anyway, lol!!! xx

I'm sure your brother will love the card - it'll remind him of younger days :) :) Great colouring in the image and the backing paper is super. Thanks for playing along with St Luke's Charity Card Challenge.

It is a fun card, Andrea. Men will always be boys, so it is just APT. And your papers are quite grown uppy.

I know what you mean by struggling with men's cards. Me too!

Sorry I fell really behind with comments this month as October has been very hectic for me.

I know what you mean - it is hard to make an age appropriate card for the guys sometimes but I'm sure your brother would have loved the fun in this and it'll be a change from the normal sailing boat or cricket bat they normally get!

Thanks so much for joining us
